Keep reading to meet just some of the incredible women that make up Liverpool City Sights.
Julie is one of our fabulous Tour Guides. Julie joined us at Liverpool City Sights last year. She has been in the Travel and Tourism industry for most of her life, spending a decade in Spain and 2 decades working in Italy as a wedding planner! She is now a guide with Liverpool City Sights. She absolutely loves being an ambassador for the city of Liverpool. Meeting people from all over the world and being able to show them around our beautiful city and also being a valued member of our LCS team.
Kim is one of our senior tour guides on the Hop-on, Hop-off buses. She was awarded top City Tour guide 2024 at Liverpool City Sights.
Kim is passionate about architecture and performance and travels the world extensively. She says that all of this enables her to give our customers the very best experience. She also owns her own business in the arts, running multi disciplinary projects and she did manage the biggest international women’s festival that Liverpool has ever held back in the 1990s with 53 separate events over the course of one week.
She would like to wish you a Happy International Women’s Day and ask that you spare a thought and send out your love to Women worldwide on this special day.❤
With a previous corporate career, Jen has been guiding for more than ten years as a freelancer. She started working on Liverpool City Sight’s red buses last year, bringing her experience to both the city and the Beatles routes.
She says:
‘Complimenting my freelancing by re-entering a team environment was a great step. The camaraderie spurs me on to do a great job and we learn from each other every day.
'The theme of IWD in 2025 is #AccelerateAction for gender equality. City Sights treats us all the same. I know that as woman in her 50s, I am among the lucky ones to feel valued and to be seen.
‘This is not the experience of all women, many of whom have put their careers on hold to raise a family. I know the women of my generation can make a significant contribution to the local workforce and help to fill skills gaps. Firms that overlook this need to think again.’
Chloe is the driving force behind Liverpool City Sights, and as our Chief Operations Officer, she’s been instrumental in shaping who we are today! She started her journey with us as a ticket seller before stepping up as a tour guide—where she made history as Liverpool’s youngest female Beatles tour guide! 🎸 From there, she moved into marketing and business development, helping to grow and evolve our brand before taking the reins as COO.
With a deep passion for Liverpool, public history, and The Beatles, Chloe is all about delivering the best possible experience for our passengers. Whether it’s developing new tours, strengthening partnerships, or driving innovation, she’s at the heart of everything we do. 🚍✨
She’s proof that passion, hard work, and a love for Liverpool can take you far! 💛
an is an essential part of Liverpool City Sights and a true powerhouse behind the scenes! 💼✨ As our Accounts Manager, she’s been keeping everything running smoothly for years, making sure the numbers add up so our tours can keep rolling.
This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating incredible women like Jan—who work tirelessly behind the scenes, making a huge impact every single day. She’s truly part of the backbone of LCS, and we couldn’t do it without her! 👏 🚍✨
