At Liverpool City Sights, we are committed to delivering a 5-star sightseeing experience for all our customers. We strive to ensure that everyone, regardless of their needs, enjoys an accessible and comfortable journey around our historic city.

Wheelchair Access
Each of our tour buses can accommodate one wheelchair and is equipped with low floors and a ramp for easy boarding.
Priority for the wheelchair bay is always given to wheelchair users.
To ensure your comfort and safety, our drivers will always:
Stop close to the kerb
Give you plenty of time to sit down
Pull away from stops slowly
For a smooth journey, we recommend:
Boarding and alighting facing forward
Applying your brake and using the bars/handles provided

Prams & Pushchairs
Each of our tour buses can accommodate one pram or pushchair and features low floors and a ramp for easy access.

Blind & Partially Sighted Customers
Trained assistance dogs and guide dogs are welcome free of charge.
We offer recorded audio commentary in multiple languages, with free earphones provided.
From April to October, every second tour bus features a live guide.
Our drivers and customer service team are trained to assist visually impaired passengers.
If you’d like additional support, please contact us in advance at info@liverpoolcitysights.com so we can assist you on the day.
Dogs on Board
Liverpool City Sights is dog-friendly, and we do our best to accommodate your furry friends! However, for the safety and comfort of all passengers, we kindly ask that you follow these guidelines:
One dog per adult ticket holder (Children under 18 cannot bring a dog on board)
Dogs must be well-behaved, under control, and on a leash
Dogs must sit on the floor or your lap—they are not allowed on seats or to hang over the open-top section
No food, water, or other pet amenities are provided on board
Drivers and guides reserve the right to refuse any dog that poses a disturbance or safety concern
Languages & Commentary
Our recorded audio commentary is available in ten languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Japanese and Mandarin).
Live guides are available on every second bus all year round.
The commentary includes stop announcements to enhance your sightseeing experience.
Mobility Scooters
We accept Class 2 mobility scooters (as designated by the Department for Transport) under the following conditions:
The scooter must be no more than 1000mm long and 600mm wide and must have a maximum turning circle of 1200mm.
Users must present a valid ‘permit to travel’ under the Confederation of Passenger Transport Code.
The user must be able to independently handle and control the scooter.
The driver cannot manoeuvre the scooter due to safety concerns.
Mobility scooters and wheelchairs must not exceed a total weight of 300kg (including the occupant).
Luggage
Small bags and items that fit under the seat are permitted.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate large suitcases.
Left luggage services are available at Liverpool Lime Street Station and other locations in the city.
Bus Stops
Our bus stops are shared with other public transport services.
Stops vary from sheltered seating areas to simple bus poles with travel information.
Stops are located within short walking distances of major attractions.
Timetable information at bus stops is provided in at least 12pt standard print.
To board, signal the driver as the bus approaches. To alight, press the stop bell.
If you need assistance, please let the driver or guide know.
Toilets
Toilets are not available on board.
Public toilets and accessible facilities are available throughout the city at various attractions and locations.
Changing Places toilets are available at Liverpool ONE and the Museum of Liverpool.
Bikes
Unfortunately, bicycles cannot be accommodated on our tour buses.
Other Useful Information
Liverpool City Sights is a tour service, not a regular public transport service.
We do not participate in the UK Government’s Free Bus Travel Scheme (including National Entitlement Card holders).
We operate every day except December 25.
Our open-top tour buses can accommodate approximately 70 passengers.
Occasionally, tours may be disrupted by city events—all service updates are posted on our website and social media pages.
